Well, they might bring it up now n then, when talking about FTL. It'll suffer forth on 60% positive reviews and get a couple of half-assed DLC in the coming 2 years, before it is forgotten and wiped from peoples minds. Weapons/drones in this did not receive even 1% the attention. Sure, some were empirically worse than others, but all in all this was one very well worked out part of the game.

Either way, FTL had some real interesting trade offs and balance between different weapons. And while it might become tiresome to compare this to FTL. The balancing in this game is really off. Most weapons are absolute garbage, even their upgraded versions. There is NO satisfaction in this.īut really, what is least satisfying is how useless most of the unlocks are. You just do random stuff and get unlocks for seemingly no reason. Ridiculous.Īpparently gotta kill certain gatekeepers to get the other 4 ships unlocked? Other than that. Game is just too easy with a few of the unbalanced OP weapons you unlock fairly early. Purple is better, while orange supposed to be better.
